How did we end up here?
This, again?! It feels like the arguments never end.
Fights with your partner range from what to watch on TV to how to discipline the kids. Since there’s never a topic where you agree, what’s the point in talking?
You’re not a team anymore, and you especially can’t remember the last time you had sex.
There’s a longing to feel the connection you once had. But the resentment is growing. Suddenly, it feels easiest to give up.
Do I even want to do this anymore?
You remember the days where your partner felt like your best friend. All their quirks made you love them, and now those same quirks annoy the hell out of you!
There’s a voice in your head asking, “Is this even worth it?” But then you remember the life you built together – the rush and adrenaline of being fully connected both emotionally and sexually.
The longing you have to make this relationship work has caused a void that feels impossible to fill. You both have rejected each other, and the fear that comes with this is holding you back.
You have forgotten how to communicate with each other, and you need help rebuilding.
Why does this feel so hard?
When your relationship’s foundation is cracking, it’s easy to wonder if your partner has ever really cared about you. You don’t feel supported, and you feel alone.
Both of you feel trapped with no escape. The stress from this leads to arguments about EVERYTHING. Suddenly, you can’t even remember what you were upset about in the first place.
It feels like you’re speaking different languages, and you can start to feel the punch in your gut that your partner no longer understands you.
Regardless of where things went wrong, the hurt and pain are genuine.
Get back the love you want and deserve.
Finding the reasons why love is lost is not easy to do. But you are not alone. I am here to help.
During our work, we will get to the root of what is really going on. There are often layers beneath the surface that have not been discussed, and this is a safe space to talk about them and find ways to connect.
Together, we will build your confidence, trust, vulnerability, and honesty with yourself and your partner. You will learn skills to increase playfulness and find the passion and meaning you’ve been missing.
Our therapy sessions are an all-inclusive space free of judgment no matter your sexual identity or what you desire.
It’s time to re-ignite
your love life!
Schedule with us today; you won’t regret it!
Hi, I’m Lyndsey.
I am the Founder & Owner of Relationship Matters Therapy. I’m so glad you are reaching out for help! The fact that you are here means there is something inside of you that says, “I want to make this work!” That is the type of client I enjoy working with – the ones who will put in the work both inside and outside of sessions to improve their relationships and love life.
Here at Relationship Matters Therapy, we help clients manage conflict, improve communication, rebuild lost connections, and improve their sex lives! With this type of growth, life quality improves overall. It’s my favorite thing in the world when I get to see the progress first-hand.
Along with getting to the deep-rooted issues that are sabotaging your relationship, there will also be moments of discovery and clarity that you probably didn’t realize about yourself. Here, we do not shy away from leaning into those feelings, whether it’s past traumas coming to the surface or expectations that you didn’t know were there.
We see clients from all different backgrounds, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community, those in non-monogamous relationships, or anyone who is into kinky sex.
Our philosophy regarding relationships and sex is that everyone deserves to have whatever type of relationship they want, whenever they want, with whoever they want (so long as it is legal and consensual, of course!).
No topic is off-limits in our office. If you’re ready to save your relationship and experience some self-discovery and honesty along the way, Relationship Matters Therapy can help you.
